The annual Cortez
Elks Hoop Shoot was certainly a success with a large number of
entrants this year. Pictured here are the placers in the Boys
12-13 Age Bracket. Taking third was David Crouch, Lane Gallaher
was second, and Jaron Jacket captured first. Jacket will join five
other Cortez children as they head to Grand Junction later this
month to compete at District Shoot of the national Elks Hoop Shoot
Competition.
