Dec. 29, 2001 STAFF REPORT Lois Borelli of Cortez, who has been playing the National Football League weekly contest for years and years, is the winner of Week No. 15. She missed just one game out of 14 on the slate. Borelli was unavailable for comment. A message was left on the answering machine notifying her she had won. A check is in the mail. Week No. 15 offered a few surprises but the area prognosticators did a pretty good job of choosing teams. Tennessee pulled a mild upset over Oakland. That game really shocked a lot of pickers. Kansas City nipping San Diego was another game which caught quite a few by surprise. Most of the favorites won, though. Here are the way they finished: Lois Borelli 13 wins, 1 loss Jill Hargrove 12-2 Sherma Hargrove 12-2 Bill Blackburn 12-2 Tony Cornfield 12-2 Rita Cornfield 12-2 Danny Lobato 12-2 Bill Shore 12-2 Marvin Hermanns 12-2 Bill Banks 12-2 Doug Brown 11-3 Blake McCrackren 11-3 Matthew Benally 11-3 Mark Vanderpool 11-3 David Gee 11-3 Donald Jolovich 11-3 Kathy Talcott 11-3 Ed Cullington 11-3 Don Puls 11-3 Lloyd Lobato 11-3 Larry Benally 11-3 Dan Williams 11-3 Dale Cumpton 11-3 Pat Talcott 11-3 Trevor Welch 11-3 Paul Bostrom 11-3 Richard Lobato 10-4 Wanda Graves 10-4 Mike Carver 10-4 Trish Becher 10-4 George Mockry 10-4 Mike Graves 10-4 Penny Hall 10-4 Tony Hall 10-4 Judy Ashton 10-4 Scott Davis 10-4 Becky Courvoisier 10-4 Janice Scott 10-4 Erick Ashton 10-4 Dale Peterman 10-4 Luisa Peterman 10-4 Brandy Benally 10-4 Priscilla Silversmith 10-4 Faye Benally 10-4 Frank Smith 10-4 Cheryl Garcia 10-4 Anthony Maestas 10-4 Esther Puls 10-4 James Maestas 10-4 Albert Kraft 10-4 Samantha Sunseri 10-4 Walter Marquez 10-4 Yvonne Lobato 10-4 John McCormack 10-4 Patsy Hartt 10-4 Chet Bankert 9-5 Kellen Benally 9-5 Sandy Ruckman 9-5 Del Borelli 9-5 Gary Gnas 9-5 Brad Clauson 9-5 Don Schlotfelt 9-5 Liz Bostrom 9-5 Barbara Cullington 9-5 Jubal Hall 8-6 Anthony Courvoisier 8-6 Lyle Benally 8-6 Armando Garcia 8-6 Mike Krebs 8-6 Al Rivera 7-7 Tooty Huergerich 7-7 Joseph Maestas 6-8. |
