Mesa State sells golf passes for 2002

GRAND JUNCTION — The 2002 Mesa State College Golf Pass, which provides either free or deeply discounted golf at 31 golf courses throughout Colorado and Utah, is now available.

Motorized cart rental is required with card use at most courses, but is not necessarily included. Some restrictions t times at various courses also apply, and advanced reservation is required at most courses. Only one card is available per card holder per year.

The Mesa State College Golf Pass costs $35 each and benefits the Mesa State Athletic Department. Order forms are available at Saunders Fieldhouse. The phone number is (970) 248-1503 for ordering.

Three new courses are on the card including Redlands Mesa (Grand Junction), Devil’s Thumb (Delta), and Adobe Creek (Fruita). Conquistador Golf Course in Cortez, of course, is on the list.

Other golf courses include Battlement Mesa (Parachute), Cattails (Alamosa), Cobble Creek (Montrose), Deer Creek Village (Cedaredge), Fairway Pines (Ridgway), Hollydot (Colorado City), Lincoln Park (Grand Junction), Tiara Rado (Grand Junction), Baca Grande Los Cumbres (Crestone), Cedar Ridges (Rangely), Rifle Creek (Rifle), Salida Golf Club (Salida), Snowmass (Snowmass Village), Mt. Massive (Leadville), Meeker Golf Course (Meeker), Riverview (Sterling), Haystack Mountain (Niwot), Collegiate Peaks (Buena Vista), St. Andrews at Westcliffe (Westcliffe), and Ranch at Roaring Fork (Carbondale) to name a few. Utah courses include Dinaland (Vernal), Moab Golf Club (Moab), and Green River State Golf Course (Green River).
