Donald Jolovich of Cortez is this week’s winner of the
National Football League which appears in Tuesday’s editions of the Cortez
Journal.
Jolovich won by tiebreaker, almost guessing the Monday
Night Football game’s score correctly.
"I know he will be thrilled to find out he has
won," wife Judy Jolovich said Wednesday morning. "He’s way,
way out in the field putting in some pipe. Wow, $50 bucks. He will be real
happy to find out that he has won."
Jolovich barely beat out Lois Borelli of Cortez and Janice
Scott of Dolores.
Another contest will appear in this Tuesday’s edition.
There were some interesting games played but not a lot of
complete surprises like last week. Seattle, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Miami,
Green Bay, and San Francisco were among the winners. As a result, the
prognosticators did very well.
