Nov 3, 2001 STAFF REPORT The pro football prognosticators in this area had a much better week at picking teams compared to the week before. Three people were tied at the top with only two misses. But it was Anthony Maestas of Cortez who emerged as the winner. It came down to the tiebreaker. Maestas not only picked the right team to win (Pittsburgh) but he also put down that the Steelers would win easily. He put 28-7 while the exact score was 34-7. Efforts to reach Maestas for comment were not successful. The number he wrote down on the entry form was not in service at that time. Denver got back on the winning side of the ledger by beating New England. Miami was a winner of Seattle. The only real shocker was New Orleans defeating St. Louis. Perhaps, Washington’s mild upset over the New York Giants. Dallas beating Arizona wasn’t a shocker but it was a toughie to pick. Another contest will appear in Tuesday’s paper. Here are the way the eligible entrants came out: Anthony Maestas 11 right, 2 wrong (win by tiebreaker) Brandon Benally 11-2 Pat Talcott 11-2 John McCormack 10-3 Danny Lobato 10-3 Janice Scott 10-3 Trevor Welch 10-3 Kellen Benally 10-3 Dan Williams 10-3 Bill Nelson 10-3 Richard Yake 9-4 Jill Hargrove 9-4 Gary Gnas 9-4 Frank Smith 9-4 Lee Brown 9-4 Anthony Courvoisier 9-4 Kay Underwood 9-4 Mark Vanderpool 9-4 Lindy Rucker 9-4 Windi Ashton 9-4 Bob Crouch 9-4 Kathy Talcott 9-4 Luisa Peterson 9-4 Donny Todd 9-4 Tony Todd 9-4 Michelle McLain 9-4 Jason Rockwell 9-4 Mike Graves 9-4 Sherma Hargrove 8-5 Tyler Scott 8-5 Sandy Ruckman 8-5 Roger Fox 8-5 Cheryl Billie 8-5 Del Borelli 8-5 Tony Hall 8-5 Jubal Hall 8-5 Clayton Smith 8-5 J.R.
