Many cowboys, cowgirls compete in M.V. Rodeo

YOUNG COWBOY BRIAN SHOW comes around one of the barrels during action recently at the Mesa Verde Stampede Rodeo at the Wild Wild Rest Arena near Mancos. He competed in the 5-7 age group during the annual summer series. The Mesa Verde Stampede Rodeo, a family event for all age groups, ended its run for this year.

Organizer Sarah Show said she wants to thank everyone who participated in the rodeo series this summer. She also said she wants to thank all those who helped put up the new arena.
