| SOUTHWEST SOFTBALL
ASSOCIATION recently held the second annual SWSA Tournament. In
the Minors Division (6-10 year olds), the Lil’ Twisters,
coached by Debra Ramsey, went into the tournament ranked no. 2
in the league of seven. They won their first two games but fell
to Dove Creek’s Lil’ Starz coached by Torie Davis. They
played a second game and beat Dove Creek for the title. Dirty
Dozen, coached by Audra Fahrion, came in third. The winning team
members were (top row, left to right): coach Debra Ramsey, Jenni
Rowell, Rachel Reed, Carmelita Maize, Jolicia Blackhorse, Tyia
Klein, co-coach Linda Smart; (bottom row): Jasmine Ramsey,
Aubery Tanner, Shawnie Higgins, Kristen Johnson, Rachelle
Blackhorse, and Jackie Ramsey. |
