FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD Michael Stroud of Cortez recently sank a double eagle on the No. 10 hole of Conquistador Golf Course. The 500-yard hole is a par five but Stroud made it in just two shots. Stroud, a member of the Montezuma-Cortez High School golf team, says he has been golfing for 2 1/2 years and that it is his first double eagle.
