DARNELL BANE, a 1995 graduate
of Montezuma-Cortez High School, is playing Women’s
Professional Football for the Colorado Valkyries (Denver). She
is one of the starting defensive tackles for the Valkyries. Her
team is 3-1 with a coming game against Daytona Beach (Florida)
Barracudas. She will graduate from the University of Northern
Colorado in Greeley in December with a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Visual Arts.
