PAUL GEE of
Boise, Idaho, passes wire-cutters to Javin Lackey of Bend, Ore.,
Tuesday near the intersection of highways 184 and 145. The workers
were stringing fiber-optic cable through power lines for a project
by Winco Inc. of Molalla, Oreg. The cable will go from Albuquerque
to Grand Junction. Piloting the helicopter is Dave Mercer.
