April 29, 2000 The polling places for the May 2 special districts election are as follows: Cortez-area residents may vote at the Montezuma County Annex, on the corner of Chestnut and Montezuma. For the convenience of Cortez residents who own property in other districts, copies of all ballots will be available, as well as instruction booklets that detail each voter’s eligibility on an issue by issue basis. Residents of Lewis and Arriola vote at the Lewis Fire Station, not the school as has been the case in the past. Dolores voters may cast their ballots at the Dolores Community Center, and Mancos residents vote at the old fire station on Bauer Avenue. The polling station for Pleasant View is the Pleasant View Fire Station. |
