Parade winners announced

Winners in the Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo Parade were as follows:

Modern Youth: #115, Battle Rock, first place; #146, Ute Mountain Princess Royalty, second.

Royalty: #110, Teec Nos Pos Native American, first; #142, Miss Aneth Community Royalty, second.

Most Innovative: #128, Pippo’s, first; #114, Mancos Valley Inn, second.

Frontier: #120, Southwest Livestock Association/Cowbelles, first; #152, Ambassador for State of Colorado Disabled Native Americans, second.

On behalf of American Legion Post #75, Parade Chairman Ray Candelaria extends thanks to all the participants and to everyone who helped, including the Cortez Police Department.
