STUDENTS, STAFF
and parents of the Children’s Kiva in Cortez hold a peace
march from their school to the Cortez Public Library on Monday,
Martin Luther King Day. The students honored King an advocate of
non-violent conflict resolution whose position coincides with
the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, founder of all
Montessori schools, who was nominated three times for the Nobel
Peace Prize.
