SAMUEL SANDOVAL, one of the
original Navajo Code Talkers, gives a presentation to
approximately 30 people at the Cortez Cultural Center Thursday
night. Now 78, Sandoval joined at the Marines at 18 and spent
four years overseas. The Code Talkers developed a code based on
the Navajo language that proved unbreakable for the Japanese.
Sandoval will give another presentation at the center on Nov. 30
at 7 p.m.
