| THE GIRL SCOUTS of the Mesa Verde Service Unit,
Chaparral Council, enjoyed their first summer camp on the
Dolores River. The family camp was an enjoyable experience for
all, with hiking, crafts, swimming, fishing and lots of fun
around the campfire. The girls had a chance to get to know girls
from other troops, and the parents were able to spend some time
with their daughters. Attending this year were troops 52, 27,
1461, 2921 and 190. We hope other troops will join us next
summer. Plans are under way for summer fun in 2002. |
