a blue-heeler puppy to adopt from the Cortez Animal Shelter
Saturday during Wendy’s Fun Day, while Jennifer Goodalll of
the shelter looks on. The number of animals at the shelter is
growing. During the second quarter of this year, 653 animals
came through the shelter, according to Goodall, and many were
not adopted.
