BETTY ATKINS of Cortez
begins painting the face of April Lewis, 6, of Cortez, while her
sister, Shannon Lewis, 5, watches. The face-painting was one of
many events at Wendy’s Fun Day on Saturday in Cortez. The
restaurant raised $1,800 to be divided among the Cortez
Volunteer Fire Department, the Cortez Animal Shelter, and Grace’s
Kitchen.
