STEELE, 9, of Cortez holds a boa constrictor Friday at the
Reptile Reserve between Mancos and Cortez while Kayla Cotter, 9,
waves to a friend. The visit to the Reptile Reserve was part of
Playground Days, a summer program offered through the Cortez
Parks and Recreation Department. The program runs through Aug.
10 and provides half-day or full-day activities for children
