Piñon Arts and Humanities Alliance’s
Summer 2001 "Music in the Park" will open a free
concert series on Sunday, June 3.
Donny Johnson, "A Group of One"
will kick off the season with his special brand of country music
on Sunday, June 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Cortez City Park.
Johnson has been playing his particular
style of music for some time, entertaining many people
throughout the Four Corners. He is also frequently asked to join
other area bands for an evening’s jam session of country and
Gospel music. His latest endeavor includes two CDs. The first
features his favorite selections while the second is focused on
Gospel music.
Everyone is welcome to tote along a picnic
supper and enjoy an evening of live music.
