POTTOROFF, a student at Montezuma-Cortez High School, jokingly
snatches her $1,000 scholarship check from the hand of Ray
Taylor, president of the Montelores Mental Health Association,
at the group’s annual dinner Saturday night. The association,
which gives scholarships to anyone interested in entering the
mental-health profession, is the oldest mental-health
association in Colorado.
