3, tours the Montezuma County landfill on Thursday as landfill
manager Deb Barton (far right) shows them some baled trash. The
Cub Scouts are working on their Bear Badges, their achievement
for their third-grade year. They are learning about their
environment, how to care for it, and what happens to their trash
after it leaves their home. Their field trip to the landfill was
timely because Saturday was Earth Day. |
