| MARK ALLEN (far right),
director of the new Cortez Community Band, directs the members
on the first night of practice Wednesday. The band is open to
instrumentalists of all ages, provided they are able to play
high-school-level music, and is seeking more members. The group
will rehearse weekly Wednesday nights until Feb. 12, after which
it will start meeting Monday nights. Anyone interested in
joining should contact Allen at 565-9804. |
