The Sweetheart Ball & Art Auction was a sweet success. The food was good, the auction hardy and the music great. We had 134 attendees for dinner and 10 or so came just for the dancing. I don't have the numbers yet but will let you know how we came out. Thanks again to our table sponsors; Montezuma Dolores Title, Citizens State Bank, Franciscas & Quality Hay Sales, Dolores State Bank, Colorado Land Title; our band sponsor, Lanmark; all our ticket buyers; auction item donors; auction bidders; our auctioneer Allan Randolph; our dessert bakers, Patsy Brown, Joylee Davidson & Andrew Becker; the board members that helped set up and take down, Chris Burkett, Bob Whitcomb, Ruth Drew, Pat DeGagne, Bruce Johnson and Mitchell Toms; the gals & guys at the Elks Lodge; Seasonings; and the Bar-N-Band. Great job by all involved. Let's do it again next year.
